Finding Magic in Morocco: Moroccan festival hopes to dispel myths

General Admission: $5 Adults; $3 Ages 3-9

Come and enjoy our fall cultural festival as we discover the excitement and diversity of the kingdom of Morocco. The festival will feature costumed dancers, music, singers, arts and crafts, exhibits, food, and special attractions. Experience what it is like to visit a real "souk" marketplace of rugs, brass, jewelry, tile, and ceramics. Free moonbounce and pony rides, a Henna artist’s tent, face painting, petting zoo, children’s arts and crafts workshop, storytelling and drawings for door prizes, including a trip to Morocco! Register for the traditional fall scarecrow making workshop as part of the cultural festival. A fun and educational day for the whole family!

Contributing Sponsors: Bank of America, Casablanca Travel and Tours, Cox Communications, Creme de la Creme, and Royal Air Maroc. We thank them for their partnership.

The fall cultural festivals have been some of the Center’s most popular attractions and are fun events for the whole family. Last year’s Turkish festival drew over 2,000 to the Center! Past cultural festivals have featured Irish, Portuguese & Brazilian, Scandinavian, French, Turkish, Scottish, Native American Indian, East Asian, and Russian cultures. They included dance and music, arts and crafts, ethnic exhibits and food, pony rides, moon bounce, a scarecrow making workshop, storytelling, and face painting.
