In terms of the meeting with the US Ambassador and the press first evening Nov 4, 2001, a proper business attire will be recommended, besides that casual and comfortable dress is the best. Please note that during the day the temperature is around 65 - 70 but at night it about 50. therefore a warm coat /jacket will be useful.

Nov 3 / Day 0 JFK / Casablanca Royal Air Maroc Flight # AT 205 ( 8:00 pm local time to 8:00 am next day)

Depart from New York, JFK Airport, on Royal Air Moroc, Moroccan national carrier, overnight flight to Casablanca. starting your journey as soon as you take off. In addition to superb Moroccan service and friendliness, you will enjoy beverage service, delicious dinner and a complimentary movie. Nov 4 / Day 1 - Casablanca / Rabat ( 90 Km)

An early arrival at 7:40 am at Casablanca Mohamed V airport.  Welcome and transfer to Casablanca for sightseeing the economic capital of Morocco : the central market, the Habous district, the Royal Palace, the Mohamed V square, the residential area of Anfa and the outside of the Hassan II Mosque. Lunch at the association of " Solidarite feminine" . Afternoon, departure to Rabat,  Rabat was founded in the 1Oth century. It was briefly the capital under Yacoub el Mansour who ruled an empire from Tunisia to Spain. Nov 5 / Day 2: Rabat/Meknes/Fes ( 220 Km)

After breakfast,  departure Meknes. Meknes, has been called the "Versailles of Morocco.' It was founded in the 1Oth century by a Berber tribe known as Meknassas and passed through the hands of the 12th century Almohads to the Merinids and Saadis. Its most famous ruler was Moulay Ismael who was known for his murderous reign and love of architectural grandeur. Visit to sacred city of Moulay Idriss. Then on to the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Nov 6 / Day 3: Fez

After breakfast, the whole day will be devoted to a sightseeing tour of the city of Fez.  Fez is the past: mysterious aristocratic and for all the warmth of its people, a hidden place. It is the spiritual and intellectual capital of Morocco. It is the oldest of the Imperial Cities and is known for its 1.000 year old medina where artisans carry on age old traditions, and for the Karaouine Mosque, a Koranic university founded in the year 859. lunch at a Moroccan  traditional restaurant in the medina. Nov 7 / Day 4: Fez - Beni Mellal / Marrakech ( 485 Km)

Traveling to Marrakech, you will witness the breathtaking beauty of the Moroccan landscape. As you pass through the countryside, you will see the majestic backdrop of Marrakech: the snow-capped Atlas Mountains in the distance. En route to Marrakech, you will see the lake of Dait Aoua and Ifrane a famous ski resort, as well as Azrou, a Berber village known for its handicraft cooperative filled with wood carving and carpet weaving.  Several stops are included.  Lunch will be in Beni Mellal at 1:30 PM. Nov 8 / Day 5:  Marrakech

One of the most famous Imperial Cities in Morocco, Marrakech is known as the "Pearl of the South" Situated at the edge of the Sahara. Marrakech was historically a beautiful oasis and trading center. It was founded in the 11th century during the reign of the Almoravids and was the capital of a vast empire covering most of the Maghreb and a large part of Europe. More recently it was the favorite vacation spot of Winston Churchill. At 8:00 AM breakfast At 9:00 AM, sightseeing. You will visit the famous Saadian Tombs, the Koutoubia, the Bahia, Djemaa el Fna Square, and souks for your shopping. At 8:00 PM, a special Moroccan dinner party followed by folkloric dancing and a colorful Fantasia show. Then, return to the Hôtel Compaville Club and overnight stay. Nov 9 / Day 6: Marrakech/ Casablanca ( 250 Km)

Nov 10 / Day 7:  Casablanca / Mohammed V airport

After Breakfast, Transfer to Mohamed V airport for your return flight on Royal Air Maroc 204 departing at 10:00 am and arriving JFK at 12:30pm the same day with a memorable trip of a life time.
